Adds 1 bonus level after resetting the world for each level of the artifact's upgrade.
Strategy[]
Instantly gain access to the targeted level at the start of the run AND all previous levels. Previous levels are available through the map.
If you have "over leveled" the portal and are unable to beat the minion or boss - don't immediately reset all of your artifacts. Select a lower level that you can beat and level your targeted heroes. Doing this you can quickly leap frog your way up to your new starting level and quickly reach the profitable sections of your run.
With the artifacts, Strong Hand, Bloody Glove, and Magic Bag you can unlock a powerful arrow storm to acquire significant starting gold to purchase you low level "starter" hero for targeted runs. This is more cost effective than dumping billions of souls necessary to unlock any but the lowest level heroes outright.
An end game strategy using the portal is to set the target level to land at 667, 1,667, etc... Just past the requires click stages. Level your Avatar hero and use the above mentioned strategy and unlock the hero: Midas. Using Midas Touch and arrow storm go back to your highest level and get gold from the clicks. This should allow for purchasing even the most expensive gold hiring Heroes you have. This can allow for easy end game forced rarity upgrades by hiring only the target hero, or a single intermediary if necessary.
Note: You will not receive any specters or loot drops on any level marked previously completed. Setting this too high can limit your ability to farm gear, loot drops, and souls. Max recommended level is 478, which will land you on level 499, which is the highest level you can go and still have access to all weekly event bosses.
