Rarity level increases the hero's max level and the total DPS the hero does.
Rarity upgrades can be obtained each time the player defeats a Daily Boss, sometimes from a Mystic Chest and rarely from a Mystic Vault.
The player can also spend Emerlands (
) or Magic Bottles (
) to increase a hero's rarity level.
If the player has at least one Star Elixir, then on the info menu for a hired hero that is not yet Galactic X rarity, there will be a new section allowing Star Elixirs to be spent to increase rarity at a rate of 1 sub-tier per Star Elixir.
Max Level Boost is the additional DPS from Base DPS, for level count at the given rarity. Individual skills, rarity bonus, gilds and global bonuses are not factored into this.
